planning on upgrading to

Q6600
Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R

not sure what RAM to get

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)
or
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA804)

is the Crucial Ballistix worth the extra?

my case is a coolermaster wavemaster which i dont think will fit a large cooler in it so i'm not sure which cooler to get?

will soon be adding a 8800, possibly GTX will my PSU be ok?
its a enermax noisetaker 535W

cheers

I wouldn't bother with the Ballistix given the price and the fact that it can be a bit hit or miss if it requires a RMA. The Geil will be more than sufficient for a good overclock, particularly if you can't fit a large cooler.

Your PSU should be fine, is it ATX 2.0 compliant? Enermax have quite a few models and some were, some weren't which might mean you need adapters. :)

yes, ATX 2.0 compliant.

the Geil is looking good at the price it is.

just need to decide on a cooler and get it all ordered

think i'll just go for the A/C freezer 7 pro, its the same as i've got now on my 3700+ so i know it will fit ok.

is it worth getting some arctic silver 5 or is the stuff allready on the cooler ok?

It has either MX-1 or MX-2 paste pre-applied (I think it is currently the latter) so the paste is fine, I'd just stick with it unless you are a bit clumsy and likely to mess up the the pre-applied stuff, if you are then a tube of AS5 is probably worth it. :)
