asus p5q
4Gb blackdragon 6400Mhz ram
Nv 8800gts 320mb @ 594/1512/864
audigy 2 zs
WD 500GB aaks
cd rewriter
dvd rewriter
floppy drive
4 * 120mm fans running @ 10volts
1 * 80mm fan
swiftech waterpump
tagen 480w psu no 6pin pci-e conectors
24" monitor 1920*1200
vista 64
ok now ive decided that im going for the Nv 260gtx 216 either evga or bfg as i want the longer waranty haveing had 2 cards die on me within 2 years (all pc parts get passed down the line from mine to the wife then my son etc)
im thinking of going for two nice and quick 330gb per platter HD's for some raid 0 speediness, I know people say make sure you back up with raid 0 but then in a thread the other day the poster said he was going to raid 5 and he was still told to back up, so if you need to back up anyway i might aswell go for the speed.
anything vitally important is allways on more than one machine anyway.
so this brings me to my biggest problem.... the psu.... now i know that my currant psu isnt going to be up to the job so I need a replacement, with that and the gpu and two new Hard drives...640's hopefully all within a budget of £400.
sugestions please
