Also, how come no1 has recommended nvidia? Are they not good in comparison?

There's nothing wrong with the Nvidia cards it's just that AMD have priced there cards really competitively hence why they get recommend a lot.

I saw that but have been told to stick to HIS, Gigabyte and MSI. Are Sapphire reliable? Do they have UK RMA?

That card has 2 years warranty, the first year just raise a webnote with OcUK and they should deal with you direct, after that it would be a few weeks to rma to sapphire (Handled via OcUK afaik).
