Hey All!

Think it's time I give my PC a bit of an upgrade and just wondering what all your thought's are.

Current setup:
  • i5 3570K
  • asus p8z77v motherboard
  • 8gb DDR3 RAM
  • gtx 560 graphics card
  • 120gb ssd and 500gb hdd
  • ocz 700w psu

I'm thinking of a new graphics card and an ssd, gtx 970 or similar and an ssd?

What are your thoughts? should I upgrade other components also? I have around £400 to spend. Currently only playing at 1080 but would like to move up to 4k evantually, but a new monitor will be required for that! I only really use it for gaming so I think 8gb is plenty of RAM at the moment :)

So basically yeah either ~£300 on a graphics card and ~£100 on an ssd or I spread the cost to upgrade other parts also :D

Peacee!

Looking at what you have.

It is just the GPU thats the weak point.

Is you CPU overclocked? What case do you have?

The only change I would make is a new GPU but June will see new cards from both sides so you may want to wait!

What res are you playing at?

Slightly overclocked to 4.2 and I have a mid tower NZXT phantom

Probably worth the wait then really! Thankss!

Erm just at 1080 at the moment, following a new gpu a 4k monitor will be on the cards I think though!

BX100 SSD and a GTX970 are in your price range, but a single 970 is not enough for 4K game in titles such as BF4.
