Upgrade time!!

[233]

Current rig spec

7950x
32gb slowish ddr5
3080 gpu
X570 pro rs motherboard
And a couple of Sarbrent rockets for storage

Generally does most of what I want but I’ve got an Xmas bonus sitting idle and I fancy a little upgrade

Currently running a 144hz 4k display so would really like to see a useable 4k output which the
3080 does struggle with
And I mainly like playing RTS games

Thinking possibly a 9950x3d 64gb of faster ddr5 and a new Radeon gpu come launch in a few weeks Although I am
Open to suggestions

Kick ass sound system?

If you're gaming at 4k, hold fire for 5080/5090

like the above post says, 4k at high fps means you need a top end GPU so best to wait until the 50 series is released
