Hey guys,

So if i upgrade my windows 7 to windows 8 from the £24.99 download...can i use windows 7 on another system of mine as i wont be using it on this system anymore?

my copy of windows 7 is retail.

No the new key replaces the old one.

As above. Being a retail version though I think you are allowed to install it on a single virtual machine as well. Just thought I'd add that.

If I get a new pc I'll be able to install Win 7 on it and then upgrade to Win 8 (as long as I don't use the old pc) right?

win 7 retail and win 8 update. I've recently got a job so I'm going to have a decent bit of money after xmas and will be getting an HTPC, I have a spare win 7 license for my current laptop I will format laptop, put a win 7 licence on both then win 8 update my htpc. This should work fine I assume.
