Untill you have a years driving behind you... stick with the Punto... I had my Cinq for the year I learned to drive... and had the Lanos when I passed :)

really need at least 1years ncd before you consider changing prefflably 2 years, to help on insurance, also we need a budget, we can recommend you loads but you wont be able to afford 90% of them.

I know.. but im talking about driving experience... with or without someone next to you :)

currently im paying £60 a month on the punto. I did a quote for a 306xsi and its £800. All of this is under my own name, as the main driver. So i can insure something group 10 or lower.

Ouch! I pay 60 quid a month for my 3.5 litre fuel injected V8 Triumph :o

I do now have two years NCB though, it's amazing how much difference it makes :)

Definitely worth hanging onto that car though, getting to grips with the whole thing, racking up as many miles as feasible, enjoying it - because you can enjoy any car in the right situation, or with the right attitude, and wait till you've got some NCB to rack up a nice purchase :)

agreed, w8 for at least 1 years ncb, you'l probaly find you mite need the money you have for uni or something else more important, you have a car that i assume runs perfectly fine, so if you want sumthign with more power, just boot the living hell out of it, you'l be suprised ;) either that or run it into *** ground b4 buying yourself a new ride.
