Hi All---My K8N-E Deluxe decided to stop working..
Have had everything checked n PC shop says it's either the Processor or Mobo...But he has not tested either of them because he has No older board to test Processor on..(He's an idiot). How can you run a PC fix shop if he not got no older Mobo to test processor on..

ANYWAY, I've decided to upgrade n need advice...I already got a NEW System--M2N-SLI Deluxe, n it's working Great...I use it for Photography.
I need this next buy to run Internet, Office, Photo Browser n Uploader of photos to internet, etc.,----NO Gameing..

Should I pay another shop £50 to test to see which un is gone or go ahead n buy new???
If New, what do you suggest...I got £500, but LESS than that would be Ideal.
£300/£400 if possible...Should I go Better than my M2N-SLI Deluxe or Lower. Or get another M2N-SLI Deluxe.

Could save more if you went with 2gb of ram instead of 4gb. Put a 320gb hard drive in, you may want abit more if you are storing a lot of photographs on it.

OK--Seeing as I have a PC, TWO of them, I must have a Monitor or TWO..Plus i got a Tower with 2 spare towers as well..
I use a Samsung 226bw 22" on the one thats Capput!! a 24" on other. I should think, that if I have a PC (even broken, I'd have an OS as well, YES!)

What I now need is a Mobo/CPU/Graphics card/Ram/PSU....

NOW then! I have 1xSATA 80GB for OS (to be Formated with stuff saved off it first)..Then I have 3x IDE plus 2x IDE External..(these are my worries as I don't want to buy any more SATA at the moment..Reason is, I got too many IDE drives here..Got 2 inside Racks being used as Externals on a ****** Magic Bridge ii + 2x External
I will need to run these 3x IDE drives Inside (internally, if possible).
My DVDRom Drive/DVDWriter/CDWriter are IDE..
I have an IDE Host Adapter for 4 IDEs incerted in a PCI Slot...I run the HDD off of it..
Can I get another one to run the Rom/Writers with....OR--Would It be easier to buy a
5 x SATA/S/Serial-ATA to IDE/PATA Adapter/Converter from Hong Kong.
So many new things out there it leaves me Baffled!
I will have an ATX 450PSU + 2x 512MB Kingston Ram + Radeon 9600gt card going to waist after this..(most annoying) :(
I see you not mentioned any AMD stuff, why is that...I have always used AMD, BUT! i am willing to change for once..:)
My other PC is ALL SATA..Cost me a Lot from Overclockers when I bought...Can now buy the same for less, but need to use my IDEs if Possible..

ALL Ideas will be Graetfully Appreciated...

Oh Yea!----4GB Ram is ok----Asus P5K SE not sure about, is the pro better.?
Sapphire 3450, was told these Run HOT..Is that true..Would a Radeon 8500/8600 be ok.
Will Overclockers fix the CPU to the Mobo if asked ? that is the only thing I do wrong n won't do now..Shop charges £50 to do it all..Putting rest together is easy for me to do.

How Good is BIOS v1502....

In the PC I'm useing now M2N-SLI Deluxe I am useing a Beta Bios that you can't download anymore 007 i think...Works Great for me at this time...
