Competitor rules

When BF3 is released you could *probably* expect the mainstream 28nm cards from AMD as well. If that happens you could *probably* expect cost/power consumption of 6850 and performance of 6970.
If it doesn't happen, then I'd say stay with 5830. BFBC2 used to be one of the very few games to benefit from more than 2 cores from the CPU, and you might want to wait until you upgrade your CPU to quad-core or better.

I was thinking of upgrading my cpu to i5-760 but i thought with the 2 threads my cpu would be alright, i suppose the question is what would improve my BF3 performance more, getting a better processor (probably the i5-760 so i dont have to buy a new mobo) or a better graphics card for around £150-200.
