UPGRADE!

as you can see im running SLI 770 lightning..... at res 1080p... which run everything i have played fantastical well.....when i get to play!!!...
my thinking is, i don't want to keep these until there not worth much any more..one is just under 7 months old and the other is just over 4 months... should i sell now to get just over half my money back...?

and go with maybe a 780 (which might keep its price a little better than the 2gb cards!) , to maybe sli 780 down the line...

or should i just keep these until maxwell whenever they surface!... as i am only playing at 1080p...

iv got the itch to move on from the 770's for some reason.... am i wasting my money and thinking? and just relax

Personally I would hold onto them for a bit longer if they are already maxing out your games

Maxwell is touted to be a late Q3-Q4 release judging by all the info so far, So it's completely up to you, Got the upgrade itch and need to upgrade ? Then scratch it !

Up to you OP. SLI 770s are more then adequate for 1080p until Maxwell comes out at the end of the year.

I'm running 1440p with a pair of 680s and i'm not planning to upgrade until the 880 is out.

No point really going from 770 SLI to 780 at 1920x1080. The 770 Lightning's will be quite a bit quicker.

If you really feel the need to upgrade then upgrade I think its a bit of a waste, but its your money.

For most games I think at 1080p your set up is more than enough.

.....But we all always like to play with new shiny toys hehe

I game at 1080p with one 770 and its more than enough.

Save your money and if you must upgrade something get a 240gb SSD

i guess its why there not already sold!!!.. i think hold onto them for a few more months would be the better option.... maybe get a few bigger drives and that speaker set up...to sort that itch out in my pocket!
