Looking for a little advice I currently have a msi 7850 1gb overvclocked @ 1100/1300 paired with a amd 8320 clocked at 4200 and an 880w psu, I'm looking to upgrade the gpu as its starting to struggle a bit on newer games.
I run in 1080p.
I don't have much of a budget apx £150 pounds and have been looking at either a new single gpu or even getting a second 7850 and crossfire them.
Any advice on whats going to give me the best improvement would be much appreciated.

Thanks!:)

Biggest jump would be to get rid of the 7850 and get 2 x used 7950/7970 for around £70-100 each. Also you can combined a 7950 and a 7970 if you want. You would be in Fury Pro/gtx980 level for a much cheaper price.
Your psu will easily handle that since it's more wattage than mine.

ok a worthwhile upgrade or should I look at a r9 380 or gtx 960?
Thanks for the help.

Actually the Asus 280X you linked in a triple-slot card I think which I wouldn't recommend. I would look on an auction site and try to get 2x 7950 for around £80-£90 each. Will be very fast and faster than the 380/gtx 960. There's also some decent 280X which can be had for decent prices too. My own setup gets about same fps as a Fury Pro.

It's a very fine upgrade, though it says 'out of stock / no ETA'. A second hand 7970 / 280X, or 290 if you're very lucky, would be a good move.

Personally I'd avoid 7970/7950 xfire. It's GCN1.0, does not do XDMA crossfire, and I had an awful time with 7970/7990 trifire in my old rig. A single 980 was slower but far nicer to use.

For £150 you are talking 960 level for nVidia if you buy new, so I'd look at 2nd hand cards myself, as others have said.

Given that your CPU is also pretty weak, I'd be tempted to buy a single 7970/280x, or wait till you see a 2nd hand 290/290x. A 680/770 or 780/780ti could be good also.

If you have money left over start saving to upgrade the rest of the system.
