Upgraded sound system yesterday

I'm rather excited to get home and upgrade everything!

In short, I had a Onkyo HT-S3505 system which is now going to be put in the kitchen or handed over to my old dear.

I upgraded both the amp and speakers.

I went for the Yamaha RX-V677 amp and a Q Acoustic 2000i 5.1 speaker pack.

I also got some cable, banana connectors and 4 wall mounts for the speakers as the living room is a little small.

I got the Q Acoustics for several reasons, the main ones are reviews, very little bad is said about them. And I'm truly missing mid range in my current setup. It's either all highs or flat lows. But the main reason is next year when I get some free cash I'll upgrade the front 2 speakers to the Q Acoustic 2050i's.

I'll report back later on the performance I'm so excited! Been meaning to upgrade for a long time, just never got the chance.

Only setup a basic 2.1 setup on the floor at my mums at the moment. My move in date is 1st November. So it's all staying in boxes until then

I'm missing one of the feet for the sub. Hopefully get a replacement.

I'm impressed with the speakers but can't really fully test them just watching films on sky lol. I need to get used to the yamaha ui but it seems OK.

The amp it's self is awesome.

I'll post pics when setup in my new place and an update as no doubt I'll set the system up properly.
