Upgrading a build, quick question

I just ordered a new Processor, Motherboard and Memory. I wish to retain all the other parts. Question is can I just run my harddrive and run Windows straight of the bat? It's a normal hdd, no ssd or RAID.

You'll probably need to reinstall windows. 99% of the time Windows will just crash when trying to load if you put it on a new motherboard.
