Upgrading business to ultimate.

Well yesterday I got Vista Business from the IT dept at my university. The guy said that there's an option to upgrade it to the ultimate for free - but he said when another techie tried it killed his network. Any ideas?

There is an option to upgrade it, but I'm damn sure it's not free.

Shouldn't have any effect on networking or anything else though.

You can use "Windows Anytime Upgrade" to upgrade to Ultimate, but it will cost you £90 or so. If you're getting it through MSDNAA, you only get Business. (I think the reason for not including Ultimate is the royalties that would be needed to pay for the DVD codec and so on)
