Hello, I am looking to upgrade my system a bit in the next few months, and would love some advice on what to focus on.
I currently have an Alienware Aurora R4 case and I am specifically looking to upgrade my motherboard, CPU and cooling system more than anything.

Specs are:
GFX Card: AMD Radeon RX 5700
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, 3600 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
Motherboard: B450M MORTAR MAX (MS-7B89)
RAM: Team Group Vulcan T-force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4
PSU: Not sure of brand etc but it's the factory supplied 875w power supply
Cooling: Just a fan but looking to get possible water cooling or something? No real urgency for it

Budget for everything is approximately £500-700. Not looking to change the GFX card for now, it seems to hold up very well, same goes for RAM

Thank you
Dylan

You have a balanced system and the 3600 isn't bottle necking the 5700 which you aren't wanting to swap, so you will not notice much if any difference with the naked eye if you upgrade cpu. Your first upgrade really does need to be the gpu to get more fps.

The 5700 is a good gpu and as you say its holding up well so personally I would say why fix what isn't broken? Save the money for later upgrades. Are there other upgrades that you might want, such as a better monitor?

If the ram is under 3000mhz then that should be replaced as that would be losing you fps.

Otherwise as ASMB said there is not much to upgrade unless your having issues. A bigger air cooler or AIO if your case can take it like:
