just ordered a i2500k with p8p67 board, do i need a new power supply if im wanting to reuse the power supply i have at the moment connected to my asus p2b?

cant remember the exact make/model of the pc at the moment though, i think its a 500w psu, was quite a fancy one at the time.

well i'm hoping simply that there are no new power connector types introduced that the motherboard needs going from core2 boards to sandy bridge motherboards.

am in the process of upgrading but:

coolermaster black widow
e4300 @ 2.7ghz --> 2500k @ whatever i can get it to!
asus p5b --> asus p8p67
geforce 880gts --> ???
2gb corsair ram --> 4gb of something
120gb vertex 2e ssd
dell 2407wfp
logitech g5/microsoft reclusa
..sparkle psu :)

the reason for the sparkle is that its meant to be silent/quiet, the whole rig was meant to be silence and o/c'ing somehow.

how does the "OCZ StealthXStream 2 600W Power Supply [OCZ600SXS2]" that is currently on offer this week compare to the antec/xfx (for noise/performance)
