I am going back and forth between building a whole new pc for around 1k to just playing it safe and spending money on worth while upgrades (for my current pc needs that is).
I will probably upgrade my cpu/gpu/psu when games like Bioshock and AVP come out. For now, my current cpu/gpu is playing the games I want to play at a good high quality setting.
current spec:
- ATI 4670 524mb
- Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2
- Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium
- Intel Core 2 DUO E6600
- Antec NINE HUNDRED Gamers ATX Case
- GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Kit
- G.Skill PK (2x1GB) PC2-6400 CAS4 Dual Channel Kit
- PC Power & Cooling Silencer 420W Power Supply
- 2.5TB HDD storage
I think I could also do with changing the ram..
Heres what I'd like to upgrade for just now. The HDD will just be for the OS, a few games and some software. Everything else will be stored on my other drives. I was looking into buying an SSD but they're still too expensive.
What should I upgrade next? Maybe I should just build a new pc and get my urge to build a new pc out of the way. lol.
