So i'm upgrading primarily because i have a micro ATX motherboard which is too small for me too fit everything in my sound card will block the graphics card fan and its a squeeze as the graphics card blocks 4/6 of the Sata ports..

I currently have a 880GMA-UD2H AMD 880G i think along with a phenom x6 1055t, 4gb ddr3 1666 ram, a radeon 6950, 500W PSU and an awful case which has just worn down to replace. I'm also looking to make sure that my computer looks good and has good airflow so i will need a case and fans that allow for this, i am most likely going to put neons in there too.

The only thing i want to keep is my radeon 6950 and possibly my power supply if i can get away with it but its ok if i cant,

I want to move over to intel as i have seen reviews that they perform better in games ( i may be wrong but the thats what i saw in the charts long term ) and ideally i actually want to start streaming starcraft 2 a lot more as i struggle to currently and i will need a good quiet fan that will give me fairly good temps for the CPU

For my CPU i was looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-404-IN

Motherboard: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-202-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

case: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-009-AE&groupid=2362&catid=2277&subcat=

ram: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-302-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

Thats all i have really got for myself to get i am unsure on what fans are good and i'm fairly new to speccing out computers let alone build them so this will be a first time experience for me im sure its not as hard as it looks xD

cheers in advance

I have between up to maybe 350-400 pounds for this and if i can i am going to go for a blue/black look in my case

CPU is a great choice.

The motherboard you picked was voltage locked, mine isn't. :)

The cooler i picked is also MUCH MUCH MUCH better

The RAM you picked has really tall heatsinks for no apparent reason, these could collide with a CPU cooler.

I've picked a prettier case. :)

And at the lower end of your budget too..

What is the make of PSU you have? It didn't come with the case did it?

Thanks for the quick reply :), i liked the corsair ram as they were blue and looked awesome, and yeah the PSU came with the case i think i'm not sure where i got it from though but definitely not here, the case is also not too bad any idea on fans how many to get and what ones?

That case is more of my thing as it also has a window which is really cool as i didn't really wan't to have to cut one out lol, no its not a coolermaster case it's not even a good one

Considering you ran a 1055T and a 6950 on it, its either pretty good or you took a big risk..

If you do need a new PSU, id say:
