Upgrading from 580 SLI

I'm looking to upgrade my PC from my current 1.5GB 580 SLI cards and I was considering getting 2 Titan's but price/performance just doesn't add up for me personally. With that in mind I'm considering going to GTX 670 SLI instead. I want 4GB cards and I have noticed EVGA do 2 different cards that are pretty much the same price:

4GB EVGA GTX 670 FTW+
4GB EVGA GTX 670 Superclocked+

Which of these cards would be better for an SLI setup? Or is there not really any difference? Should I consider the GTX 680 too? (I believe it's not worth it price/performance wise?)

Also I'd rather stick with NVIDIA but could switch to the red team if it's really worth it (7970 Crossfire?)

My understanding is that EVGA cards go in this order:

Standard
SC
FTW
Classified

Differences within the same GPU series will be things like clock speeds, backplate and cooler.

If you can get a FTW for the same price as a Superclock then I would do.

Yes - very pleased with them. If you are more sensible with money than me you should probably get the 670 version as the performance difference is small. I really like the backplate on these cards.

Thanks

Not really worth it in my opinion. Save your money for the next gen. It's not like sli 580's struggle with anything is it?
For me they have struggled a bit with Far Cry 3 (I think this is more the game implementation though), Arkham City and Skyrim with loads of mods. This is running those games on max everything. With Skyrim my PC won't run the HD - 2K Textures "Full" mod smoothly and I'm convinced this is because of VRAM limits (with only 1.5GB). I really hate turning settings down on games so looking for a setup that will run everything at max settings @ 1080p (and I am considering moving to 1440p soon)

gbgt2 i had no problems with arkham city or far cry running at max settings @ 2600 x 1440 now sky rim is different kettle of fish if u going to run it with mods exspect some slow down best thing to do is reduce view distance to rebalance the game

the only reason i upgraded from 580 sli was that the price for the 680 4 Gb was to good to pass up and id done a load of overtime 310 a piece if not id still be rocking those 580s great cards that clocked to 1ghz
