hi all

I'm sure this question has been asked a few times but, is the nexus 5 a worthy upgrade from the 4? Been seriously tempted these past few days seen as the price has dropped to £240. Or would it be wise to wait? or even get a different phone entirely?

Thanks

I know it's not quite the same but I moved from a S3 to a N5. And I don't regret it for a minute. Thing is you can always wait till the next big thing, and as soon as you get it there will be something else out.

I'd wait personally, I have an N4 and I really can't see that a new device right now is going to be dramatically superior.

I have a Nexus 4 which I love, I bought a Note 3 which gone stolen... I then purchased the Nexus 5 (Bright Red) and I totally love it.
The camera is a lot better for me than the Nexus 4, and it feels great to be back on stock Android!
It's a nice device in the hand, and is super quick, very snappy.

No custom rom on my Nexus 4 got me near the stock Nexus 5 feeling.

so I'm now very happy, although the Note 3's screen and battery was totally epic.

I get a full day's use on my Nexus 5 with around 3 hours screen on time on average on a mixture of WiFi and Data.

I'd say that in terms of build the Nexus 5 is superior (this said, I don't own one!), however aside from that, you might as well stick with the Nexus 4 if you're happy with it, and wait for the next generation to come about.

Where have they dropped in price? They're still £299/£339 on Google Play.
