Upgrading from R9 270 to R9 290X

Hi Guys

Just bought the powercolor PCS+ 290X from B-Grade, any recomendations on prepping my system for moving my 270 out and installing the 290x? any tools you would recommend to monitor the new card?

Hopefully hardware wise it should be a straight forward swap-out

The best monitoring tools is MSI After Burner. You can create custom fan profiles along with adding GPU, CPU & RAM monitoring options to the OSD.

Got afterburner already as the 270 was an MSI Gaming edition, will just make sure i turn thinks like fan curves off so i dont get errors until its up and running. Looking forward to being able to play far cry 4 at decent settings the 270 struggled with it on more than medium
