upgrading GPU

my old PC is in need of a update, mainly for playing games on TV and watching movies the same way for my dad to have.

currently it has Intel P4 640 CPU, MS-7091 v1.X Micro ATX mainboard, ATI 700pro GPU, and i think it is a 350W power supply.

i just wanted to know if anyone could hook me up with something a bit more powerfull that should run fine on the supplied PSU, if not spec me a PSU too

used to play FEAR 1 at about 20FPS, but want it to run that game a lot smoother.

reckon it would be fine on the 350W PSU?

EDIT: i believe the board cant run PCIe 2.0 but would the card run at PCIe?

wat about a 9500 or 9600? i know its not great, but must be better than the ati700pro?

They will likely work and beat the 700pro - but the one RJC specced is the pre-eminent choice, a really nice card which draws little power.

If your board isnt 2.0 capable, it will just run at 1.0 speeds

how would running both those cards affect the speeds at PCIe 1.0, what would they run at?
