upgrading graphics for bf4?

hi

i'm thinking of upgrading my hd7750 for better looking/smoother bf4.

can anyone give me an idea of what settings will i be capable of running using a r9 270x alongside a phenom ii 955 black?

i will be running 1080p max resoloution. will upgrade chip and mobo later when funds allow.

Probably medium settings to retain a decent FPS, possibly medium-high.

Overclocked;

If you don't turn MSAA and Post AA on you should be able to run at about 60 FPS with a mixture of High and Ultra.

I run a 7870XT (Tahiti LE) its about ~10% faster than a 270X clock for clock. i'm getting over 60 FPS to about 90 FPS @ 1150 / 1575 on half Ultra half High and Low post AA (which blurs the Image at higher settings anyway) Even with everything on Ultra (Minus AA) i'm still getting 50 to 70 FPS

This where the CPU is not the bottleneck, which is the problem in DX, its the CPU which drags the FPS down and in DX that will happen with yours.

In Mantle you will get much better results with it.

thanks guys, that will do it for a while i guess. its going to be a while until i can upgrade monitor/cpu etc, but a solid 60fps with more eye candy will do me.

i see there 2048 and 4096 memory versions available, advice? again, only bf4/bf3 in 1080 required.

I think the 4GB one is only £10 more? get it. I play BF4 and wished i had 4GB, i don't strictly need it, but i can get my GPU to use more than its 2GB in BF4 if i push it.
