Upgrading help

I am think of upgrading my CPU/Mobo however I have been out of the loop for some time and need advice.

Currently I am on i7 930 under water cooling at 4.2Ghz. This is on an ASUS Sabertooth X58 mobo so is still pretty rapid in gaming terms.
My system is purely a gaming rig so that is my main focus.

Couple of questions:

Firstly is it actually worth the upgrade?
And if it is –
What would be the best CPU/chipset combo for best overclocking and gaming?

Think you'd be best off waiting in all honesty, while there are things better than what you have, the difference in gaming isn't going to be very apparent (Unless you're running some rather high end GPU set up you've CPU bottlenecked, or you run very CPU limited games)

I will stick with the CPU i think, however I would like to down size my case (TJ07 monster) to a micro ATX but I cant seem to find anybody selling Micro ATX X58 mobos anymore.

Why do you need to upgrade? That spec is fine. What other components are in your system?
