Hi,
I wonder if someone can help I'm upgrading the M.2 NVME SSD on my laptop to a 2TB one. I know I can simply clone it using an enclosure on the new drive and use easeus. Can I do this without an enclosure backup the system to an external HDD, replace SSD, boot off Win 10 recovery bootable USB drive, restore image to new drive?

I cant seem to find much about it?

Thanks in advance

I don't see an issue with:

- clone to external hdd
- replace internal drive
- boot from ext drive
- clone to int drive
- boot from int drive.
- done.

My personal cloning favorite is Macrium
