Upgrading mobo and processor

So i fancy upgrading my motherboard and processor as i wanna be able to run Battlefield 3, processor i have atm is -

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
Can anyone reccomend a motherboard and processor bundle for maybe £180?

Would it run alright with a 9800GTX+ or should i upgrade the GPU as well?

Ill probably go for them then, ill also keep an eye for 2nd hand boards. Btw will i have to install a fresh version of windows or can i just plug it in and play?

Looking into buying a whole 2nd hand gaming rig tbh haha. Cos this was a Compaq when it first started and i upgraded bits as i went along so i don't even know if the motherboard will come out of the case.

Can pick up a fairly decent one for about £500-£600

Think id go for the second one with the 560ti and a better case maybe one with a window in it.

Is there any major difference, im just guessing lower cpu temperatures?

Current basket stands at £802. And it's not on the original OS anymore its on Windows 7.

And ill be having a look into the 7850 before i decide which card to go with
