Upgrading my 6600GT

Hey folks,

I'm interested in upgrading my XFX Geforce 6600GT 256MB to a Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800XT 256MB. Does that sound like a good upgrade? Or should i wait off until the DX10 cards come in?

It's for Oblivion you see, which isn't doing too well running on the 6600GT. Playable but slow.

My specs are:

1.8Ghz AMD64 3000+ Venice Processor
Abit AN8 Motherboard
1gb RAM
XFX Geforce 6600GT 256MB

I ordered one of these yesterday, and I'm upgrading from a 6600GT just to play Oblivion also.

the X1800XT 256MB is a lots faster than the 7800GT, great upgrade for you.
