Upgrading my computer

Hi guys,

Thinking of upgrading my computer for the soon release of Battlefield 4, could anyone give me some tips on what could be a good upgrade and sustainable for a couple of months or for a year?! Looking to spend around £300-350. Thanks in advance!

Graphics Card:
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950 IceQ X PLUS Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express

Processor:
Intel Core i5-2500K (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor, currently sitting at 3.6GHz

Motherboard:
AsRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3

Solid State (1st HDD):
Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SATA 6Gb/s

2nd HDD:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500 GB Internal 7200 RPM 3.5"

PSU:
Antec TruePower New Modular 650W '80 Plus Bronze'

Case:
Cooler Master HAF 912 - Black

CPU Watercooler:
Antec Kuhler H20 620

RAM:
16GB (4x4GB) Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Oh just to add to this, ideally I will be wanting to upgrade to a 250GB SSD!

I'd suggest maybe getting a better PSU for upgrades.

Only reason I say this, is this allows for another GPU upgrade or crossfire and you still have room for anything else you'd like to add later. Other than that, for real upgrades that'll last in my opinion your budget would have to double.

But bare in mind, that's my opinion and I'm a bit of an enthusiast.

Thanks pal! I'm not a massive enthusiast. I've had this computer for 2 years now and basically just wanting some upgrades to see me over for Battlefield 4 really. Well, Battlefield 4 and some other smaller games and WoW, hence the 250GB SSD!

We have heard that AMD might very well be bundling BF4 with their GPUs. Might pay to wait and see if it comes with the 290X

Bit too late on that front, BF4 + premium is already pre-ordered haha!

I'd probably go for an AMD card if I was you, 7970s and 7950s are so well priced at the moment.

Nvidia's 7 series are all great too, but a bit more expensive.

id echo what Kefan said above.

the 280x and another (bigger) ssd.

the 280x is essentially a 7970 but appears to be priced slightly lower.
