Upgrading my CPU

I want to know if it's worth upgrading my i5 2500k @4.6ghz to a i7 2600K for 60usd to pair with my EVGA gtx 1080 SC2

P.D: I don't have the budget to go for a better CPU, maybe in a year or so I will have the budget for a 8700k

Personally i'd say no, Stick with the one you currently have... Save the money and put it towards future upgrade. Do you use the PC for Gaming?

Yes I'm playing @1080p 240hz monitor, mainly Fortnite,PUBG,CS:GO

My CPU is overclocked @4.6ghz

Check usage but if your after max framerates, then jump to i7 K would be the way forward and pushing 4.7ghz overclock
