So i've got a b-twin 520 red/black, which Ive had for nearly 7months. Im thinking of upgrading the wheels, and don't know much about them, only know its the main part youd think to upgrade.

https://www.decathlon.co.uk/aksium-race-road-wheel-set-id_8331679.html Look pretty good judging reviews.

Also my current bike has B'TWIN SPORT wheels, 32 spokes.
Aero 32 hub. Quick-release front and rear. Is that worth anything, to sell?

Any feedback will help, or ugprades to consider for my bike, i cycle 200-400 miles a month!

Wheels are always a good place to start as its the place where most bike manufacturers scrimp to keep their costs down. Mavic wheels are on the whole pretty bomb proof although they are not the lightest, they are a good buy. Most people on here will also recommend Campy Zondas.

Havent a clue about your original wheels but if you enjoy cycling, perhaps its worth keeping them for turbo work in the winter. Past that it probably wont be worth spending to change much else as it starts getting expensive for little gain.

You can sell practically any complete wheelset that isn't falling apart on ebay and net about £30 if you're prepared to post them. Keep the box your new ones come in, send by Parcelforce 48 for £8. Job jobbed.

The set are £150, add to basket and apply code PXSLS50 and they drop down to £75. :D

No I meant the bundle with the lights, tyres, mud guards etc. which was also £149. The tyres are out of stock anyway so it is a non issue.

Looks like I just sold an old bike that was in the garage collecting dust which would basically pay for these... must resist :p

It's a really open ended question.. See it with mountain bikes all the time.. If you don't know what you want to upgrade, them you don't need to worry.. Simply wait until something breaks or wears out and replace it with something better.

That said tyres are always a discussion point, and with mountain bikes, stock tyres are usually cheaper crappy versions of the real thing, so unless nothing is drastically wrong, upgrade your tyres.

Oh sorry didn't see the bundle deal, not too sure if they all class apart of the clearance items.

Gators are 50/50, especially with everyone I have spoken too about them.

If you're looking at tires in the £24 each mark, I'd recommend looking for some GP4000's as they're fantastic and have gotten me through the winter + more and have only had 1 puncture thus far (pot hole however) so am very happy with them.

However that does have an impact on budget, especially when a wheelset is only £15 more. :p
