Upgrading my mobo without reinstalling windows?

depends if on what your current motherboard is, I havn't searched up the details on your current one but as long as the chips like the intergrated graphics, ports etc are similar you should be fine.
 
If your games are on Steam, just backup the steamapps folder and copy it back onto the new Windows install.

Unlikely you can get away without having to reformat - windows tends to complain when half its devices suddenly go missing.
 
My current windows 7 install has been through 3 different mobo/cpu cobinations, E5300 + 750i, Q6600 + P45 and my current 2500k + P67.

Worked great each time and didnt ask me to reactive, tho i suspect a reinstall may be on the cards. Im using a retail version tho :)

Windows 7 dosent complain like WinXP and Vista used to :p
 
Yea sure does but long as you have windows disc it's easily fixed. It just needs to sort out the boot config I think. Takes 30 secs
