Currently I have some G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo EXPO RGB 32GB 6000MHz cl32 and I'm going to upgrade to 64GB, basically the same ram but cl30 this time.

I have also heard that 6400MHz, is the new sweet spot and has anyone on the forum tried 6400MHz on a AM5 platform? I only ask this question as I have noticed G.Skill do a 6400MHz version but it's xmp and not expo.

Most ram work but not guaranteed if its not on the motherboard QVL list.

Why do you need 64gb ?

I don't need 64gb, but would like 64gb and I have heard ram prices are going to go up and I have seen some G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 6000 cl30 quite cheap.

So I thought I would get some.

Fair enough

Your only going to gain a few FPS if gaming if you get faster ram but if don't mind paying then fine.

6400mhz not sure about the new sweet spot as the infinity fabric at 6000 is 1:1 ratio

I think I will stick with what I was going to get, at least I know it works and it's on the QVL list.

I can always try upping the clock speed and see what happens.
