Upgrading my rig

Hello

I play 1080p with i5 2500k 8gb and I plan to OC a little.

Is this card a step up from my GTX 680 for Battlefield 4?

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 WindForce 3x OC Rev2.0 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N780OC-3GD)

Must be something better to spend your money on? does you board support SLI? if so grab another GTX680?

Hey, hi Stulid

I have a got a board that supports SLI, I picked it up in the B-grade stuff, it is a cracking Gigabyte board.

I happen to have a spare PSU rated at 650W.

Sounds like a plan, is the PSU big enough, looks like it is using my googlefu - and thanks so far! I am a fan!

Guru3D says a 750watt PSU is recommended for SLI.

Mad question but with an overclocked i5 2500k throttle that card? I think it would do a pucker job but I am all ears.

It will bottleneck it a bit, but the overall improvement will still be eye opening.

Overclock the 2500K too, they all do 4.5GHz.

Will my Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler keep it cool or would I need to upgrade for OC-ing?
