Ok time has come for un upgrade.

I want to run medal of hounor airbone well.

What should I do?

I currently have:

Mobo - Asus P5N32-SLI Delux
Intel D 2.8 Ghz(socket 775)
2 X 512mb DDR2 ram (crappy stuff)
BFG 7300 256mb
Seatgate 320GB SATA HDD
A crappy 300 Watt power surply

I need as you can see at least a new HDD and power surply, which ones? SHall I just get another 500GB HDD and use both or get a 750GB one and sell the 320GB one on? I dont realy want to change mobo, as that is a nice one, will it accept a dual core E6300?

I have a budget of about £400 but Cheaper the better, as long as it will run medal of honour I dont care about future proofing.

Thanks in advance

Sheldon

Id rather buy some good memory that will run it smoothly and then buy a new CPU in 2 weeks. Just can you give me a list of components I need that will work well together to run MOH and il buy a few now and a few in a few weeks. Cooling isnt a problem as will be running swifttech ultra + water cooling setup

After checking the asus site, no in order to go Core 2 duo a new motherboard will be needed.
What do you think of this proposal

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.66GHz (1333FSB) - Retail (125.71 incl vat )
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (56.93 incl vat )
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK) (68.14 incl vat )
Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 5000AAKS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (75.19 incl vat )

Abit IP35-E (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard ( 76.36 incl vat )

Total comes to 402.33 incl vat

Looks great.

But out of personal choice I'd rather get a tube of MX-1 than AS5 because I find it easier to clean off and it also performs a little better. I'd also, again for personal preference, get the WD AAKS hard drive instead of the 7200.10 because they are apparantly a little faster.

Cheers. Useful advice as I was going for baracuda as was always told more realiable. Will change for the speed tho
