Hi I'm planning on upgrading my pc month by month. I pl as n on buying a 5700xt in a few months but want to make sure I wont mess up my computer and will still play till then.
I'm going to buy the following 3 items this month.

(CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.4GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)

Motherboard
ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0) - RGB Ready!

Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3600MHz (2 x 8GB)

And i already have.............
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Graphics Card

OS Drive: 250GB SK hynix SL301
Solid State Drive

Secondary Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM Hard Disk

Power Supply: Aerocool 80 PLUS 600W PSU

Will my 1060 6gb work with the new components? And will my power supply be ok for the new components? I appreciate any help and advice.

The gtx 1060 will work fine, the psu isn't a great quality unit though in terms of the maximum power draw of the new components which would be about 350-400w then a 600w psu will be fine.

Maybe think about upgrading to a better psu and also ditching the HDD for a 1tb SSD as that is a nice QoL improvement, any reason your going for the x570 over a cheaper b450?

I just want my games to look really good when I'm playing them. I dont know much about pcs so thought might be the best choice if I'm getting a 5700xt. What psu would you suggest?

I would recomend getting a cheaper b450 board, 1tb SSD and a better quality psu and you can get all 3 for almost the same cost as the more expensive x570 board.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £280.07 (includes shipping: £11.10)

For gaming you won't notice any difference with b450 over x570.

Thanks I really appreciate the help. So with those plus
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO BLACK 16GB (2X8GB) 3600 MHZ AMD RYZEN TUNED DDR4 MEMORY DUAL KIT

AMD RYZEN 7 3700X EIGHT CORE 4.4GHZ (SOCKET AM4) PROCESSOR - RETAIL

And a 5700xt
my whole system will be complete? The psu you advised will be enough? And everything compatible?

Brilliant cheers mate I think I'll try to get it all sorted this month. One last thing any suggestions for which case I need to fit all the components in nothing fancy just to do the job for this plus a 5700xt red devil.

Sorry I promise this really is the last thing. Do you know any cheaper alternatives that are as good as the
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO BLACK 16GB (2X8GB) 3600 MHZ AMD RYZEN TUNED DDR4 MEMORY DUAL KIT?

I'm not bothered about rgb lighting

These should be cheaper with slightly better timings.

Cheers mate you've really helped me out.
THERMALTAKE RIING TRIO 140MM LED ADDRESSABLE RGB FAN TT PREMIUM EDITION - TRIPLE FAN PACK do you think these are a good buy or should I get something else? Again rgb it's a priority

Even if you want to upgrade later to 12 or 16 core CPU there's no need to pay that high price for motherboard.
Already something like Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite has overkill VRM for those.
And MSI B450 Tomahawk will do fine for just 8 core 3700X.
With good case cooling it would be also decent for 12 core.

Aerocool is such cheap PSU brand that wouldn't risk pricy new parts with it.
And some basic 80+ PSU was outdated low end design already decade ago.
Now it's from start of medieval time in PC tech time scale.

Cheers mate you've really helped me out.

RGB is huge cash grab for makers/branders to separate people from their moneys...
You could get good non-RGB fans for less than 20% of that price... as in for three fans, not one.

Yeah I'm just hunting for 3 non rgb fans that are cheap but still good. Cheers for the advice
Arctic P12 and P14 are bang per buck choise universal fans to use in case and CPU cooler.
Regardless of their low price they're darn good acoustically running smoothly without vibration and sound profile is very calm/smooth without frequency spikes.
Even warraty is 6 years for basic model and 10 for PWM models.

Though in 14cm size stock is at the moment limited.

PWM fan has very wide speed range and even 0rpm mode.
