Ive put this together carefully as im upgrading on a budget.

Would anybody change the graphics card? Am i spending too much on a Mobo (can i get something cheaper - that wont O/C as much but will run the CPU fine?).

Also has anybody ordered internationally? Im not allowed to say names but Grrr king of the jungle -Direct?

Thanks in advance

Edit: Will I be able to run TF2 at 1920 in high detail with this rig?

I said "TF2" not "Games" ? :S

He wants to run team fortress 2 not crysis..

Surely if my rig can handle tf2 at those settings then his should be able to also?

If those graphs are from tf2 then 30 fps in a fast shooter sucks donkey turd. If it works for you and don't care about other games then be my guest :p

The 8600GT is a terrible card and the Tom's Hardware chart is not very accurate anyway. You cane get a ATI HD 3850 from here for only £54 inc vat. That would be a much better buy if you can stretch to it.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah im gonna get a 3850 now. It looks much better. can anybody answer my q's about the mobo / intl shipping?

I can't find anything cheaper, apart from the P31 board. I'm not too sure about overclocking ability on any of them and you might need to be careful with the shipping BIOS (as the 45nm 5200 is quite new and the P31/P35 mobos are well... not).

You might wanna take a look at the Abit P43 board but I can't see any other alternatives in the price bracket.

Can't help with International shipping.

Thats my thoughts too. Nothing cheaper really and the Abit is the only alternative in a similar price range.

International shipping shouldnt be a problem. I have had goods shipped from all over and not had any problems.

this would be a really good choice for only a small bit extra =)

No. I was going to get one of those for my second rig but after reading loads of reviews on that and the 3850 have decided to get the 3850. Power usage is not a great deal more, 16w idle/35w load and the 3850 is a lot faster in most things. In some cases it is almost double the speed. The 4670 is very overpriced in comparison to the 3850 and is probably being held back because of the 128 bit bus.
