Upgrading OCZ Vertex PLUS Firmware?

Got this drive here that's an OG SSD, it's on firmware 1.2. I think the newest is 3.55, problem is you can't flash the firmware if drive isn't in IDE mode and cannot boot into Windows to flash it with drives set to IDE.

Is their a DOS program that could allow me to upgrade the drive?
