YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-SLI - Devils Canyon Core i5 4690K Bundle **£12 Saving** £265.98
1 x Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 WindForce 3X OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £155.99
1 x Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter (CT256MX100SSD1) £86.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLRED38G2400HC11CDC01) £44.99
Total : £563.54 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I already have the Graphics card and I will be keeping my 500 GB SATA drive as extra storage whilst using the SSD for booting and a few other programs.
Firstly should I just replace my HD 7950 with the R9 280 and carry on using my old PSU even though it is now 6 years old and I don't believe It was a high quality PSU in the first place, or should I get a new PSU just to make sure it doesn't decide to blow up my new components.
If getting a new PSU should I crossfire the 7950 and R9 280 and get a higher wattage or just look for something capable of running the above system? What kind of performance gains am I looking at for sticking them in crossfire,
if enough I could be tempted in changing my old 1080p monitor up to a 1440.
Is 8 GB ram enough for someone who just does gaming on it and nothing that taxing or should I be looking at 16 GB? I might need wifi when I move house sometime in the future so is it better to spend extra on a motherboard with Wifi built in or get a PCI card. I'm not very clued up on PCI wifi cards or wifi motherboards so what would be a decent card or board to buy?
I am upgrading very slowly so likely won't be finished for a few more months and I hear that Intel will be selling some new CPU's in the near future which are going to be using the same chipset, how soon are they likely to appear? Is it worthwhile waiting for them to be released? Would I be likely to need a more updated board to support any new functions on the newly released CPU's?
