Well since the Ivy's are out and i've got some money together I thought I may as well upgrade now.

I'm upgrading from a Q8200 i've had for a while now. I already have an ATi 6970 and a 520watt Corsair PSU, so i'm fine there. I basically want a CPU, MoBo, RAM and SSD upgrade.
I've not overclocked for years so i'm not going to push the card hard yet, maybe just dabble and go for 4ghz. I'm not interested in Crossfire or SLi, and i'm half tempted to grab a Gaia Heatsink instead, then grab 16gb of Kingston RAM as the prices are starting to go up.

Any thoughts?

Yea i thought about that RAM, but from what i've read overclocking your RAM doesn't offer huge increases in performance unless your going all out. I don't plan on doing that.
