Hey all, I know from a few freinds that this site is freindly and helpful and just wondered if anyone could help me out ... Thinking of upgrading my PC, I am hoping to be getting a GTX 460 in the near future but in order to do so I am going to need a new PSU. My general plan is to upgrade my GPU and PSU but ensure they are good enough to follow on for the biggy when I upgrade to a DDR 3 mobo :)

Could anyone suggest a nice quality cost effective PSU that would work nicely with a GTX 460. One other thing I am not confident in installing a PSU by myself as I am unaware on what connectors go where etc .. could anyone give me a quick run through just to ensure that i dont blow it up :P ( will I need to take my mobo out etc etc ..

Thanks so much guys, my current spec is pasted below shout if you need additonal info.

One of the PSU below should be fine, the first link is very good value for money.
Assuming your case can take the std ATX PSU then it's just a case if removing all the power connectors, remove the old psu and install the new. Hopefully you should not need to remove the motherboard.

Thanks guys, my case is a standard PC Specialist one, I am unsure if it would fit or not.

Also quite scared about cable management would prefer to buy a PSU that had all the wires in a big braided tube as such. kinda hard to explain.

Thanks
