upgrading ram and GPU

just a quick question and its probaly a dumb one

im going to be upgrading from 8gb of 1600mhz ram to 16gb of 2400mhz ram and im going to be upgrading my GPU from an AMD 7770 to a GTX 770, so i was just wondering can i just put in the new parts and do whatever i need to do in the bios or do i have to totaly reinstall windows?

You shouldn't need to reinstall your OS after replacing RAM or GPU. Switch out the parts, check settings in bios then boot into windows and install the drivers for your new 770 .

Make sure you remove your old GPU drivers! This is EXTREMELY important, to ensure there are no conflicts and the GPU works as well as it should.

i might get the 280x but i wouldnt have a 290 or 290x if you gave it to me for free, to hot and to loud
