as it stands i have 8gb ram 2x4gb
of Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
my cpu is i7 2600k
and my mobo is Asrock z68 extreme 4
also running 2x 64gb ssd, with a 500gb storage drive.
and sli 580.
i want to look into upgrading my ram.
but the question is. will buying an extra 2x4gb to go with my 2x4gb ram. make my system slower because i'll lose the dual channel memory operations? its £54 for 2x4gb
or £80 for the 2x8gb same type. only problem is then im left with my old memory collecting dust.
