Heya, I'm looking to upgrade my processor and motherboard in a few days and I'm just after a bit of help choosing the best parts possible. I have around £250 budget to spend on the two key components and a little extra set aside should I need a new PSU/Heatsink etc. I can go a little over the budget but only if it would really be worthwhile to. Also this system will be aimed at recording game footage to present on Youtube should it matter.

I have a radeon 7850 card and 4gb Ram. Which I intend to upgrade next month. So far I am thinking of these parts.

Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail [BX80623I52500K]

Can anyone tell me if these would be good choices or if I could do better with my money?

I'm not sure how much my PSU can handle and if I would need an upgrade on that also (and to what).

Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Is my current PSU.

Also would I need to buy a seperate heatsink for the CPU or do they come with one?

Also worth noting is that I don't know very much at all about overclocking so ability to OC the system isn't massively important to me. Unless very easy haha.

Thanks in advance for any help, it is much appreciated!

The motherboard is fine.

I'd get a 3570K rather than the 2500K. If you buy retail they'll come with a heatsink, but you'll probably want something better.

Overclocking is easy enough, especially if you're happy with 4.0-4.2GHz. You can get that far with the stock heatsink by just changing the multiplier in the bios.

Have a look at one of the online psu calculators to see what's going to be required for the psu.
