Upgrading some components in my PC

I've decided I really need to upgrade my computer (Because it's a prebuilt Dell Studio Mini tower from 2008) It has a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 and a m017g motherboard (I have no idea what that means) Here's what I was planning to add

Razer Sphex Gaming Mouse Pad - 320mm x 230mm
750W Antec TruePower New, Modular, 80 PLUS Bronze, 82% Eff', SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V, 120mm PWM Fan
Razer Deathadder ReSpawn Mouse, 3500dpi 3.5G Infrared Sensor
Razer Black Widow Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, USB, Wired
1GB MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II/OC, 40nm, 4200MHz GDDR5, GPU 880MHz, Shader 1760MHz, 384 Cores
NZXT Phantom Enthusiast Black Full Tower Case w/o PSU

Just wondering if anyone can suggest any improvements. I dont really care much if the card is nVidia or Ati and keeping the keyboard and mouse etc isn't necessary. I'd like to keep it under £580 also if you can find a cheap sound card don't hesitate to mention it because this Realtek makes BC2 hard crash :( . I mostly play TF2 and BC2 but I'm going to buy Skyrim when it comes out too.

The PSU is a solid choice:)

the GPU is a great performer too.

case is great too.

But two of the items are pre-order.

:D The only thing about the case is I have no idea where all the USB's and card slots are. I know there's one on top but on my PC there is about 6 USB's and 7 different card readers :(

EDIT: I forgot to say but I might not get exactly that GPU there should be a GTX 560 Msi Hawk coming out in the next few days and it looks even better

The usb ports will have wire going into the case and connecting along the bottom of the motherboard usually.

Ahh thanks. One other thing though I've heard a lot of talk about Sandy bridge do you think if I skimped on a few components (I could do without all that Razer stuff and I'm sure I could get a cheaper GPU and PSU) I could afford a Sandy bridge Mobo + Cpu? Bear in mind I probably won't buy all this until about August.

The other little issue to note is.

the power switch/reset switch/HDD LED/Power LED wires will also goto the motherboard.

if you dont have the motherboard manual, then make a note of where each one plugs into, as the new case will have similar cabling.

keep what you have, see how you get on.

Best coming back in august then tbh. As amd are bringing out AM3+ and no1 knows how hard this is going to rock the hardware market. Also prices change constantly in the PC word.

As for razor stuff Razor products feel great and look great but more and more people reporting that the quality is not what it used to be. Personally never had a problem with them. I use lycosa and lachesis

I think I came close enough :3 I decided to go with the 2GB version because Skyrim might need that much. Im on a 1680x1050 monitor though.

EDIT: Whoops a bit of the pic is obscured but that drop down menu.

It says
Argon Tarbosaur Intel Core i5 2300 2.80 Ghz
Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 6950 2GB (I think this can be flashed into a 6970 :D)
OcuK Crusade 750W
Antec 100 Ultimate gaming case

Can anyone get it under £580?

EDIT: Yes! Got it all sorted for £522

Do not skimp on the psu!! You are going for a high end build and a cheap and nasty generic piece of garbage psu. Go back to your original psu choice.
