Hey guys

Would a Corsair MP510 960GB(1TB) NVMe SSD work well upgrading on the macbook?

I would need to buy an external hard drive to back up my current SSD. Also a USB to boot the OS from and a Sintech M.2 PCIe adapter for NVMe SSDs

Has anyone done this upgrade? What's the best guide to use
Best macbook screw driver set?

Should I get kapton tape?

You will need a Pentalope screwdriver for the bottom casing screws and a Torx t5 for the one screw holding the SSD down. You wont need Kapton tape for anything.

Nvme wont fit internally without an adaptor (which could cause issues down the line)

IFIXIT are the best non official guides on the net :)
