Upgrading Storage

I have approx 12 - 13TB of photos stored across the following drives currently:

WD RED 3TB Internal HDD (purchased 2016 so should be CMR)
2TB Internal HDD out of a 2012 Dell PC
LACIE 4TB Porsche Design External HDD
LACIE 1TB USB-C Portable HDD
LACIE 1TB USB 3 Portable HDD
LACIE 2TB USB C Portable HDD

I would like to upgrade the internal storage to newer, larger capacity drives that would enable me to move all the photos off the external storage onto the new HDDs. I'd also like to over the next year or so look at a NAS Setup to back up the photos to and also download my Itunes, Google Play and other libraries to.

I have 1 Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD with Windows on it, 1 Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD with DCS on it and 1 Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD with Adobe Photoshop and Light Room and Microsoft Flight Simulator on it.

I'm thinking along the lines of 2 x 8 TB drives for the internal drives initially. However I want to ensure these are CMR and also am not sure which drives are recommended these days as it's so long since I've bought drives.

Seagate Ironwolfs seem pretty good and reliable, WD Gold seem good value too, best thing is to google for fault/failure reports etc.

As for CMR, again, google when you find drives you're interested in.

I ended up going for two Toshiba X300 8TB drives and also picked up a 1TB WD SN570 Blue M2. that I'll use to store the LR catalogue on.
