Hello

Im looking to upgrade the MB, CPU and Graphic card in my trusty system. My current setup is:
Athlon64 3500+ winchester 90nm Thermalright XP-120 & Panaflo 92L1BX 92mm
MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum-54G
OCZ 1GB (2 x 512MB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series 400MHz EL-DDR REVISION 2 CAS2 --- OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1024MB) PC-3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series 400MHz EL-DDR --- OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K
Ati 9700 pro with Zalman ZM80C-HP cooling & ZM-OP1 fan
Antec True Blue 480W PSU (is this powerful enough?)

Im a bit confused with all the different versions of CPU, FX-72, 6000+ Conroe and Allendale! Im also confussed with the Athlon 64 M2 6000+ using DDR2, does this mean i will have to buy some different RAM? I am quite happy with my 3gb of OCR but will upgrade if necessary.

I have been looking into buying the 6000+ with the ASUS M2n SIL Delux, as i have always bought AMD. But the more i read the better INTEL are looking. Is AMD about to release any more cpu's to keep up with Intel?

Price isnt an object as i asways try to buy the best aroung as it will be more future prof.

Any help, guidence, pointer for an old time pc builder would be welcome :)

Sniff, sniff not new RAM, but i love my OCZ.....oh well...

SPEC ME
My buget will be £500-£700 depending how much my OCZ will go for on Ebay!
Not looking to overclock, nor am i looking to have 2 graphics cards. 3 pci slots would be nice, but not essential

I have posted this in the General Hardware section also as it seemed more aproperate HERE
