Upgrading to 1060 from 780ti

Yeah the temps aren't too bad really it's hovering around 60 degrees under load, it gets close to 70 every now and then, but isn't that about normal?

That's perfectly normal, all my Nvidia cards have breached 70c under load. I definitely agree that a second hand 980 Ti or 1070 is a better bet and will offer a significant performance increase where the 1060 will be a minor upgrade for a lot of money. If new 1070's drop to £300 as stock is cleared that would be ideal.

Yeah that would be ideal. Maybe it's just died of old age then as it's coming up to 4 years and when I rang OC they said it's quite a common problem for the 780 ti.

I'd get the Radeon RX 580 8GB about the same price or slightly cheaper than the 1060 6GB and roughly the same performance. All the review sites I have seen recommend the RX 580 8GB over 1060 6GB.

Plus you get 3 games with it.
