To be fair I like my PC to be fast.l and have a theme.Certainly not cheap, but I hope it looks cool once assembled!
I might have to appologise here...just watching a build in the new corsair 6500 case...got me thinking as it was with a 360mm corsair aio, so looked up the cappellix xt aio you have to check whats in the box, and it comes with a commander core controller in the box. So please don't open the commander pro, and if you haven't actually pulled the trigger on it, hold off for sec. You might be able to wire it all up without the need for the pro. I think the commander core allows 6 rgb and 6 pwr inputs, which will get the 6 intakes sorted...and use the existing connection for the other fans that come with the case...only thing I'm not sure about is the connection on the commander core...the controllers on the rgb hub etc are usb, and you get 2 headers on the mobo..if the commander core attaches via usd and aio usb, you'll be short( so you might need the pro anyway)...but worth having a look first@Craig R

You did ask for an update. I finaly got some free time to instal it. It's been years since I've done this and with corsair having no manuals I had to spend time on research.
Took me a good 6 hours. And I still have cable management to do.
Also realised that I hate 120 upfront so I will upgrade to ql140.³
After 5 hours
Surprisingly that was the easiest thing. Gigabyte comes with a easy to use plastic doohickey. You only fail if you dont know how to read. That photo brings back memories... a work in progress. I found having the diagram of the mobo open on a tablet or laptop helped a bit, if you have one of those around. you can get that from the asus website..def helphed when plugging in all those little cable bottom right of the mobo

This thing
Now my issue is. I'm decided to use comander pro. Although it was not needed, it looked better that what the case came with:
These ugly things
so just opened the comander pro i got from amazon and it's missing cables.. sigh... wonderfull
Well I kinda have to. Since there are 10 fans in the case.https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/5000x-build-2021.18937759/ you'll just have to scroll down to see the pic with the cables at back when finished
so on mine used the pro, 1 rgb core and the pwn controller from the case...unscrewed the other rgb controller that looked like **** and used one that came with the fans. so you using the commander core that came with the aio as well as the pro?
Nice, that's a looker. I'm liking the shiny ship.
I decided to buy a new desk also so I can gawk at my new toy. Old desk had the rig under it.Nice, that's a looker. I'm liking the shiny ship.

Looks even more chunky than my old 2080ti oc extreme and that card was not small at all.
That was because icue was not installed. That picture was just after I turned it on.just got home..by the way, none of the led's on the outer ring of your ql's are on. is that intentional?
