Upgrading to AM5, anything I should change?

noctua nh-d15s dual radiator

nh-d15s is the single fan version can always add a second fan not an uncommon thing
if its not damaged or anything i would see no reason not to use it [personal preferences aside i mean, obviously if you have something that you prefer for whatever reason then that is a valid reason to use something else but i cant see why not to use the noctua if it is functional still etc
ive probably missed something really obvious in reading this thread now or something lol

Yeah I won't be buying the parts for a month or two anyway, I'll have some time to think about it. Hopefully the 9800X3D doesn't increase in price, looks like it already did since putting it in my basket lol

im literally in the same position on that one [i mean planning on buying parts to upgrade to am5 in the next few months i mean i have no idea of the rest of your situation lol tbh i dont even know what my own situation is LOL!]
but yeah i totally get that
and im betting atm my am4 parts seem to be semi valuable on the used market but i bet that the parts i have will go right down in value just as i go to sell to fund hte last parts of the upgrade lol
and the parts i need to buy will go right up knowing my luck LOL!
but ehhhh such is life i guess

i tried to convince myself to get the 5700X3D but I just know I'll install it and regret it, save for AM5

unfortunately my machines main use is [allegedly because tbf i dont actually get anything decent actually done on it i actually just spend most of the time sidetracked on various forums of interesting subjects, like im doing right now lol] my main use allegedly for this machine is music production so going for the 57/5800x3d would possibly be a slight downgrade from the 5900x, less cores and lower clocks at least on the 57 but yes i have been weighing it up but i want am5 lol
